Caber Computing, Inc. version 2.0 of SqlTac was released on Oct. 16, 2008.
Please note, a trial version
is available. This is a fully featured version good for 30 days.
SqlTac’s now has its own
website (www.SqlTac.com).
The website explains all of
the various features of SqlTac and where in the lifecycle, those new features
would typically be used.
SqlTac is no longer a one-dimensional
tool. SqlTac does much more than just generated a Data Access Layer.
Over the past few months numerous features have been added to SqlTac. Most
significant are:

Numerical and graphical
representation of the quality of your database design.

List of specific items
needing improvement relative to your database’s design.

Click and fix of the
database design issues.
A host of secondary features have
been added:

Allowing you to document
your domain knowledge

Builds a standard
windows Help File containing all of your domain knowledge

Easy backup and restore
of your database, No painstaking adjustment of “Restore As” file locations.

Re-Validate all of
your Sql statements in your database at a click of a mouse
·
Fix any problem Sql
inside of SqlTac.
·
Check the consistency
of the data in your database. We will tell you if you have any Orphans!
·
Scans all
of your Sql for any phrase and reports where it has been used. Find all
“INSERT” or all usages of “Name”.
·
Builds scripts to
load all or selective records from one or more table at a click of the mouse.
·
Allows you to see
all usage of any column in the database with each of its discrete values and number
of rows
·
Compare any two version
of database.
